A degree in Nursing can open up a wealth of opportunities within the medical field for a Sim dedicated enough to venture down this avenue. The particularly dedicated should take the Masters degree to end up with a stellar qualification.

The next in the series of ‘degree’ careers is the Nursing Degree. This degree is a Master’s Degree and therefore has 4 levels. For a sim to enroll, they need 1 level in Logic, Charisma and Science and can enroll at the School of Science. It requires the University Expansion pack. For more information of the fake degrees, please visit the Deans Office.
This ‘degree’ career requires the Nraas Careers mod in order for it to show up.
Each level has 5 opportunities available for the student to participate in. The Nursing degree participates in the Medical Placement Challenge which is a four-part opportunity set with one opportunity per level.
The degree promotes into the Nursing Career although the career is not compulsory. If your Sim graduates with a BA in Nursing, they can promote into level 6 of the Nursing career. If your sim graduates with an MA in Nursing, they can promote into level 8 of the Nursing Career.
I’m currently unable to add expansion pack items as career or opportunity rewards so I’ve made the University Diploma plaque from the Uni expansion buyable for §0. It can be hung on the wall and requires the University Expansion Pack.
There are no uniforms set. I recommend visiting the University Essentials page for a list of recommended mods to enhance the experience.

Bachelor’s Year One: Principals of Nursing. Requiring large amounts of charisma, patience and understanding, Nursing is essential to a patient’s wellbeing. {0.SimName}’s fields of study will include both child and adult nursing and mental wellbeing.
Hours: 9.00am – 12.00pm
Pay: 0/hour
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Bachelor’s Year Two: If the first year seemed difficult, this one’s going to require more work. By further developing basic clinical nursing skills, {0.SimName} will spend time in a placement at the local hospital, which will increase understanding and experience in the practicalities of nursing.
Hours: 11.00am – 2.00pm
Pay: 0/hour
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Bachelor’s Year Three: With highly specialised units, {0.SimName} will be able to further develop on the knowledge and fields of study from last year and really expand that knowledge with a series of dissertations and studies. Some independent research is involved to improve self-confidence and independence.
Hours: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Pay: 0/hour
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Master’s Year One: Further research and leadership abilities are the core modules of the Master’s level of the Nursing degree. Much of this year will be taken up with independent research and {0.SimName} will need to prove his leadership abilities in a hospital placement.
Hours: 12.00pm – 4.00pm
Pay: 0/hour
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

For some reason, it’s not working in my game. I downloaded a home university lot, even created a separate student union lot, added the rabbit hole rugs, skilled my sim to be lvl 1 in charisma, science and logic, and still nothing works. Can you please help me?

When you say it’s not working, do you mean it doesn’t show up in game? If so, try saving, quitting the game and reloading.

I truly appreciate your career and apprenticeship mods!!! Two things, for these careers it seems like while my sims are at work they don’t eat, hunger meter never goes up. Also it seems like the performance meter just goes up even if I haven’t fulfilled the skills (I’ve only been playing with nursing so far) just wondering if it’s just me? I see you have the degree I’m about to add that now, these are so dope! Glad you included the driving school for my teens! You have made me relove sims 3 😂😂

The hunger meter typically should go up around 1pm, or something like that. It’s a little different for night shifts but that’s not something I can change. The meter will go up even without the skills sometimes; again, that’s something I can’t change, unfortunately. FINALLY GOT MY SIM THROUGH THE BA PROGRAM LOL ( not stepping on Missy toes) but for anyone who sees this Once you complete the BA portion go to hospital apply for nursing job (take entry level job) and you will instantly be promoted and with MONEY!! I did not realize it at 1st but I was getting tired of him just going to school not getting paid so I said id take the entry level and BOOM promotions……maybe yall got it but i didnt so wanted to share. Maybe its already posted somewhere and i overlooked it sorry if i did. Please dont think im trying to correct the creator because im not I truly apprecaite their creative skill.
